If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a request for your child to be assessed by Croydon LEA you may contact Croydon's Parent Partnership Service to discuss the matter or:

You can appeal to the Special Educational Needs & Disability Tribunal:
You can appeal if:

The LEA refuses to carry out a formal assessment (if either you or your child's school have requested an assessment)

The LEA refuses to issue a Statement after making a formal assessment
You disagree with the contents of the Statement
The LEA decides not to continue the Statement any longer
The LEA decides to amend the Statement and you do not agree with the amendments
The LEA does not name the school you would like in Part 4 of the Statement

It is important that you make a decision about whether you wish to appeal any of the above quickly as you only two months in which to send your appear to the Tribunal Office from the date the LEA told you in writing that you could appeal.
